TSDZ2 Tongheng Motor Kit Programming Follow
You DO NOT need to get the motor off the bike in order to program it.

Installing the ST-LINK V2 Software and Drivers, (for Windows)
1. If you don’t already have the software/drivers installed from the ST-LINK V2 kit, then you can go to the address below for the ST Visual Programmer files:

2. After clicking on the link above, download & install the applications contained inside these two folders as shown in the screenshot below.
- Configuring the Software
Once you have the software and the correct drivers installed, you need to adjust the configuration.
1. Right Click the ST Link shortcut icon on your desktop and click on 'Run as Administrator'

2. Then click ‘Configure ST Visual Programmer’.
3. Configure as follows – Hardware: ST-LINK
Port: USB
Programming Mode: SWIM
Device: STM8S105x4
Note the screenshot below.
4. Click the ‘OK’ button and you are now ready to program your TSDZ Tongsheng Motor.

Connecting the Motor to the computer
1. Connect your ST Link Cable to the Tongsheng Motor
2. Connect the ST Link cable to the motor as shown below.
Note that the connector may not insert fully in some cases that is fine as long as the connection is 'firm'.

Programming the Motor
1. Right Click the ST Link shortcut icon on your desktop and click on 'Run as Administrator'

2. Once the Application launches click the “Read current tab or active sectors” button to check the device connection is correct. If right, there will be information as shown in the screenshot below.
3. Click the 'Open Folder' icon and browse to the Program Memory file with the .s19 extension wherever stored on your PC and select the proper voltage file for the voltage that you are programming to for example select file with 48 V in the file name for the 48V programming.
4. Click the “Program current tab or active sectors” button to install the program onto the motor controller. Refer screenshot below.
5. Now click on the "Verify Current Tab or Active Sectors" button and wait for the 'Successfully Verified' message in the information pane.

Changing the Voltage Programming
1. Go to Data Memory tab on the application.
2. Repeat the programming steps as mentioned previously and select the Data Memory file with the .s19 extension this time and proceed up to the step to verify the programming.
3. After this change the value in the entry at 1st row, 2nd column refer to image below for the entry to be changed
4. Change this value as per the table below for the required voltage.
5. Now click on the "Verify Current Tab or Active Sectors" button and wait for the 'Successfully Verified' message in the information pane.
6. Exit the application and disconnect all wires and check the motor with the appropriate voltage input.
