You will need the following things if you need Biktrix to remotely program your eBike:
A bike that we can remotely reprogram
We can reprogram bikes with mid-drive BBS02/BBSHD/Ultra M620 motors on them that use the UART protocol. The display plug will be rounded like in the image above.
A Bafang Programming Cable
These can be found on the Biktrix Website or from various different 3rd Party Retailers
A computer running Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 with admin rights and an internet connection that can be located/relocated to be near the bike
Remote programming sessions are not a possibility on Mac computers, Linux Computers, Tablets or Smartphones!
Contact Biktrix Support requesting a remote bike programming session. They will schedule the session with you.
Programming Day
- Remove the battery/batteries from your bike and connect your bike to the Windows computer with internet access
- Watch the above video if you need help doing this
- Once the bike is connected to the computer reinstall the battery on to your bike
- If you have a Duo bike you only need to install one battery
- Biktrix Support will send a link for the ZOHO Remote Session to the email you have used for correspondence with them 10 minutes prior to the session.
- Please open the Zoho Link on the computer connected to the bike and follow the instructions requested by the Zoho application.
- Note: The computer will need to be on the Admin Account or you will need to have the Admin password available at the time of programming
