To do this you will need
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 2.5mm Allen Key
First take note of where the battery is not fitting flush so you can adjust the mounting brackets to accomadate this.
Remove your battery and discharge any excess power from the system by turning on your display without the battery inserted in the bike.
Loosen but do not completely remove the following two screws:
With these two screws loosened there will be some play in this lower amount allowing you to shift it around.
Shift and wiggle the lower mount in the direction that will allow for the battery to fit snugly and be fully inserted. Tighten the screws and test fit the battery in the mount.
If the battery now fits you are done - check that the screws are fully tightened and go out and ride!
If the battery still isn't fitting remove it and shift the mount more. You may need to undo the screws by a few more threads to get the mount to move enough to allow the battery to fit.
